From feats of might to contests of speed, aim, and endurance, each trial offers patrons the chance to prove their mettle before cheering crowds. Whether seeking glory, laughter, or simple bragging rights, all who step forth will find a challenge worthy of song and story.
The winner of any festival contest will be presented a commemorative wooden stein at the festival's closing ceremonies at 3 p.m. on the Festival Stage
A Twisted Phoenix
Take aim at glory during the Archery Tournament at 12:30 p.m. at the archery field, where steady hands and keen eyes reign supreme. Sharpen your focus and test your skill in this classic contest of precision and control. Brave archers must sign up at the archery field by 12:20 p.m. to compete for victory and honor.

Houkreative Creations brings a treasure trove of handmade, one-of-a-kind creations to the realm! Discover stick ponies, dragon-themed treasures, flower and fairy crowns, wings, wands, dice and potion sets, dice bags, felt and lace crowns, coloring books, shaped crayons, storybooks, trinket bags, maps, stuffies, hand dragons, tooth fairy monster pillows, and even carrots to feed the stick ponies. Madi Loom’s Basket Weaving
Madi Loom’s Basket Weaving invites patrons to discover the timeless craft of basket weaving! Purchase a custom-made basket or try your hand at weaving one of your own at this student-led booth. Create something useful, unique, and handmade while experiencing a traditional craft of the realm. Realm Coins only.
Public Gaol
The Public Gaol is the Sheriff’s jail, operated in the name of the Crown! Pay to have a fellow patron imprisoned, where they must complete a series of amusing tasks and acts of public humiliation to earn their freedom. This booth is operated by the Criminal Justice Association and accepts Realm Coins only.
Public Stocks
The Public Stocks are open for business, and the realm has its share of criminals! Pay your respects to the Crown by purchasing a handful of tomatoes and taking aim at those who have violated the Crown’s Laws. This booth is operated by the Agriculture Club and accepts Realm Coins only.
SCA Shire of Coill Fhionnabhann
The SCA Shire of Coill Fhionnabhann is a local branch of the Society for Creative Anachronism, an international organization dedicated to researching and recreating the arts, skills, and traditions of the Middle Ages and Renaissance. Members explore historical crafts, combat, costumes, cooking, music, storytelling, and other hands-on activities inspired by pre-17th-century life. The Shire welcomes those interested in history, creativity, and community to discover the past through learning, making, and shared experiences.
Sheep and Goat Menagerie
Sheep and Goat Menagerie offers an educational and hands-on experience where visitors can learn more about sheep and goats. Guests can explore fun facts and information about these fascinating animals while gaining a better understanding of their care and role in agriculture. The interactive animal pen provides an opportunity to get up close and interact directly with the sheep and goats.
That Crystal Lady - Mermaid Jupiter
That Crystal Lady – Mermaid Jupiter offers a sparkling collection of rocks, minerals, crystals, and unique treasures for collectors and crystal enthusiasts. Browse handmade jewelry featuring beautiful crystals and natural stones, each with its own character and charm. The booth also features whimsical handmade mermaid crafts, adding a touch of ocean-inspired magic to the collection.
The Ladies Hattery
The Ladies Hattery is a quaint little shop where patrons can craft their own custom hennin (cone-shaped hats) or enchanting fair crowns fit for royalty. This charming booth is hosted by the TRIO Leadership Council, offering you the perfect opportunity to top off your Renaissance Festival attire with a creation of your own. Realm Coins only.
The Portrait Peddler
The Portrait Peddler is a traveling artist who has wandered into the realm and needs a few coins to continue his journey. Stop by and have a caricature or portrait drawn by one of our talented student artists, creating a one-of-a-kind keepsake from your time at the Renaissance Festival.
